Henriette Hallberg Thygesen becomes the new CEO of Terma
Today, Denmark's largest defense company, Terma, announces that its new CEO will be Henriette Hallberg Thygesen. With a series of senior positions in A.P. Moller Maersk and board positions in some of Denmark's largest companies, she is a strong asset to take over the CEO position at Terma states the Chairman Carsten Dilling.
On 19 August 2024, Henriette Hallberg Thygesen will assume the role of CEO at Terma. She will replace Jes Munk Hansen, who was announced earlier this year as the new CEO of ROCKWOOL.
Henriette Hallberg Thygesen has held several senior positions at A.P. Moller Maersk – including CEO for the American and North Asian divisions of Damco, CEO for Svitzer, and head of Fleet & Strategic Brands. Most recently, she was Chief Customer Delivery Officer at A.P. Moller Maersk.
Additionally, Henriette Hallberg Thygesen is a board member of ISS, Vestas, and SAS.
“With Henriette at the helm, Terma gains a strong leader accustomed to running a global business. Therefore, she is also the right person to lead the new strategy that Terma presented in connection with our annual report, where the plan is to double our revenue over the next three years,” says Terma's Chairman Carsten Dilling, adding:
“Terma is an important company for Denmark, and that is why we went through a very thorough process with a number of strong candidates to find the right person to lead Terma forward – and we found that person in Henriette.”
The new CEO of Terma says that the company has an important responsibility, which she looks forward to leading:
