Terma strengthens its commercial efforts with appointment of new EVP for Global Sales and Portfolio Management

Terma is enhancing its sales and portfolio management department with a new Executive Vice President (EVP) for Global Sales and Portfolio Management. This strategic appointment aims to support the company’s ambitions for significant growth in the international market.

Thomas Flarup Terma

Terma has appointed Thomas Flarup as the new EVP for Global Sales and Portfolio Management. Flarup, who previously held a senior position as head of the Danish Centre for Cyber Security (CFCS), brings both a strong leadership background and extensive commercial experience.

With a career that includes roles such as EVP at the leading Danish technology and IT company, KMD, and SVP at TDC, the largest Danish tele communications company, as well as experience from the Danish special operations forces (Jægerkorpset), Flarup has gained a deep understanding of the unique requirements and challenges faced by Terma’s defense and security customers. This insight, combined with his experience from the Ministry of Defence, enhances his ability to support Terma’s mission of delivering reliable and advanced technology for critical sectors.

Terma’s CEO, Henriette Hallberg Thygesen, looks forward to working with Thomas Flarup, who will assume the position on 1 December 2024:

“I am confident that Thomas has the ideal profile to lead our commercial organization and execute our business strategy. His solid background, particularly in the digital domain, will be a key driver in our international growth ambitions. Additionally, he has leadership experience from several major organizations. I am excited to build on Terma’s successes together with Thomas and the rest of the team.”

Thomas Flarup is enthusiastic about his new role at Terma and highlights the company’s unique position both in Denmark and internationally:

“Terma is a company with a strong and respected position in defense and security technology. I am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to Terma’s continued growth and development in the global market. With a company committed to innovation and quality, I look forward to working closely with the team and our customers to deliver solutions that make a difference worldwide,” says Thomas Flarup.

The appointment of Thomas Flarup coincides with a reorganization of Terma’s leadership structure. As part of this process, Thomas Rosenkilde Andersson, who has previously served as EVP for Global Sales & Portfolio Management, will step down and leave Terma.
