Atlanta, GA, USA - Aerospace & defense company Terma North America is expanding its activities in the U.S. by opening Terma Innovation Center - Atlanta.

Terma North America Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Denmark-based aerospace, defense, and security group Terma A/S, was first established in Arlington, VA in 2003. After 13 years of successful U.S. business operating under a Special Security Agreement with Defense Security Service (DSS) and a U.S. based board of directors, the company is expanding its North American operations to include a new office with focus on technology development to meet our customer’s emerging needs.

Terma has operated facilities in Warner Robins, Georgia, since 2004, working closely with U.S. customers on supplying aircraft survivability equipment and other solutions for airborne platforms.

The company decided to expand its footprint in Georgia. Atlanta was chosen as a natural expansion option due to its close proximity to our current team and customers in Warner Robins, opportunity to expand the relationship with our current partners in the Atlanta area, and not least to capitalize on Atlanta’s position as one of the premier technology innovation locations in the U.S.

Steve Williams, President & CEO of Terma North America

“I am proud of our newest addition to the global Terma innovation network. We strive to stay at the forefront of modern technology when serving our U.S. and international partners. We look forward to working even closer with our U.S. allies by expanding our abilities to design domestically in the U.S.” says Steve Williams, President & CEO of Terma North America.

The official opening of Terma Innovation Center - Atlanta is marked with a reception where Joan Kirchner Carr, Chief of Staff for United States Senator for Georgia Johnny Isakson, will cut the ribbon of the new facility.

In addition to the main office in Arlington VA and the facilities in Warner Robins and Atlanta, GA, Terma North America also has offices in Ft. Worth, TX and Suffolk, VA.
