Terma showcase airborne solutions at Dubai Airshow

Abu Dhabi, UAE - At the IOMAX stand, Terma displays a Modular Aircraft Survivability Equipment (MASE) Pod fielded on the IOMAX Archangel II. Terma was selected by IOMAX to provide the aircraft self-protection suite for their second generation Archangel aircraft which is operational within UAE Air Force. The aircraft self-protection suite is managed using the latest Terma ALQ-213 Electronic Warfare Management System hardware and software. The MASE pod provides a mission configuration capability and can be configured to support a variety of aircraft self-protection solutions depending on the specific aircraft and mission requirements.

As part of BAE Systems’ Striker II helmet, Terma demonstrates 3D-Audio and Noise Reduction on BAE’s stand. This innovative solution enables aircraft pilots to improve the situational awareness by projecting the sound where a target comes from.

Terma’s President and CEO Jens Maaløe attends the Dubai Airshow, and together with Regional Director David Adgill Larsen (heading Terma’s office in Abu Dhabi, UAE), he will hold a series of high level meetings with regional and global partners and customers. During the airshow, they are supported by technical experts from Terma’s Aeronautics Business Area in the U.S. and Denmark.
